Lotus Europa i6
Great Lotus
concept car just freshly released its first set of pictures. The above image
shows its amazing model which designed by Idries Noah’s. It is called 2010
Europa i6 at the moment, the Lotus new-concept car is fully inspired from the
classic Lotus cars, Europa and Elite as well. It can be seen the features from
the previous design, however it has its own characteristic.
The independent designer supports that ideally, the Europa i6 would weigh
in at about 2,030 lbs (920 kg) with power coming from a 2.0-liter supercharged
inline six-cylinder engine.

Car would sprint from zero to 100
km/h (62mph) in 7 sec (someone’s being rather modest…) and on to a top speed of
165 mph or 265 km/h. Leaving aside the theoretical technical specs, Idries’ take
on a compact mid-engined Lotus sports coupe hits the spot.
The Lotus Elise will enter the 2011 model-year time-zone with a new set of
updates which involve the styling and mechanical cars of the car. The first
change we should mention is that Lotus will include a base-model with a
1.6-litre petrol engine from Toyota.
The facelifted model will have a new fascia up front, and this will
include a redesigned hood, a new bumper with a wider grille, reshaped head
lights and LED daytime running lights. The rear bumper has been restyled, and
the alloy wheels have been changed as well..
Lotus will use the ‘S’ name on their entry-level model, and this will use
the Toyota 1.6-litre engine. The gearbox for the sports car will be a six-speed
manual unit which can be connected to the 189bhp 1.8-litre R, or the 217bhp
1.8-litre SuperCharged SC model.
